As an organization, we are dedicated to reducing the leaky pipeline of women in STEM. Our Chapters function at the university level to help promote, educate, and motivate undergraduate women in STEM to complete their degrees and enter the STEM workforce. Over the years, our Chapters have gone above and beyond this mission and have successfully connected with younger students in their communities, hosting Q&A panels about college, networking events, and more. Now, at a national level, we would like to support more of these youth outreach efforts. To do this, we have started a Youth Outreach Grant Fund. By applying for this grant, our Chapters across the nation will have the opportunity to receive full funding to facilitate COVID- friendly events that cater to K-12 students in their areas. This funding is meant to go towards supplies costs, venues, and transportation. With the support of generous donors, the Women in Science Society can make a lasting impact on young girls' lives and the future of STEM through this program.

If you would like your donation to be used by a certain Chapter or in another way, please specify in the donation memo, or via email, so we can ensure your donation is allocated accordingly.
